About Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa

Situated on Galu beachfront, Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa is known for its personal service and peaceful ambiance.

The 60 en-suite rooms are made up of 18 garden view suites, 2 executive suites with sea view, 36 garden view deluxe rooms and 4 executive rooms with sea view. All rooms have chunky wooden furniture, African art, dressing tables, attractive lamps, and tea and coffee. All the suites are on the ground floor, and have a living room, kitchen and large veranda.

Bahari Restaurant serves buffet breakfast and dinner; the Dhow Bar serves pizza and a la carte; the poolside restaurant serves a la carte; Peponi Restaurant, on the beach, serves BBQ and theme dinners. Drinks are served in the Pool Bar and the Lounge Bar. Jahazi, dining by design, offers private dinners and events. Peponi Lounge is a quiet space for reading, writing and gazing at the beach.

Other facilities include tennis, table tennis, squash, swimming pool with Jacuzzi, Amani Gym and the star-rated Amani Spa. Also on site are Zawadi Boutique, Hibiscus Room Art Gallery, and a well-equipped business centre. On the beach are shaded sunbeds. The resort’s eco-policies including growing its own vegetables, catching rainwater, and treating water by reverse osmosis.
