About Asha Boutique Hotel

This attractive Swahili resort is on the beachfront of award-winning Diani Beach. It’s named in honour of Asha bin Shariff who raised the hotel’s owner, John Cosgrove. In a touching tribute, he remembers her as wise, caring, protective, a good disciplinarian and loving.

The 6 en-suite chalets each have hand-carved furniture, aircon, fan, hairdryer, dressing gown and Wifi; their bathrooms have luxury toiletries. Five rooms have private terraces leading on to the pool; 1 has a sitting room and shaded terrace in the garden. Continental breakfast is served on the raised dining terrace. Lunch and dinner can be eaten by the pool, on the terrace, in the guests’ room or in the beachfront restaurant: The Edge. The menu changes daily. The Friday night beachfront barbecues are open to the public.

There are 2 residents’ lounges. The Blues Bar is stocked with a range of wines from the resort’s cellar, imported spirits and fresh coastal juices. Indigo Spa, in a timbered Thai chalet, overlooks the seafront; the range of relaxation and rejuvenation treatments includes massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, reiki, wraps, facials, scrubs, manicures and pedicures. An ideal venue for events, Asha Boutique Hotel can organise weddings, parties and birthdays, as well as corporate events, working retreats and yoga retreats. The resort is keenly eco-friendly and supports several community development projects in Diani.
