About Saffron Villas and Kitu Kidogo House

The chic modern Saffron Villas were established in 2021, sharing a compound with beach house Kitu Kidogo. The properties are a near Flamboyant and Ali Barbour’s Cave, and an easy walk from Diani Beach.

The 6 Saffron Villas are made up of 3 one-bedroom, 2 two-bedroom and 1 three-bedroom; all bedrooms are en-suite and have aircon. Each villa has its own walled private garden and salt water swimming pool. They are of chic modern design, with glass fronts, glass sliding doors, open plan kitchen and living room, desk, digital safe, aircon and wifi. Their kitchens are fully equipped with hotel quality stainless steel oven, fridge, freezer, blender, glassware, crockery and cutlery. Welcome baskets include drinking water, cooking essentials, spices and toiletries.

Kitu Kidogo, established in 2010, is a traditional coastal house with stone floors, round coral walls, Lamu furniture, coconut fittings and African ornaments. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and open plan living room and kitchen. The pool area has an entertainment space with gas BBQ, cream drapes and Lamu door table, and is surrounded by indigenous trees.

Local fishermen and vegetable sellers supply the house. Chefs are available for a surcharge.
